World Premier of new commissioned work in Dublin

Earlier in March, Phamie was invited to give a lecture on composing and about her approach to composing to the under graduate students of The Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM) in Dublin. Off the back of this, she was given a commission by current artist in residence Imogen Gunner , as part of Dublin City Council’s Artist Residency Programme, to write a new work. Phamie’s music for French ‘short’ animation

Phamie was over the moon to have been commissioned to write the music for a short animation by French director Izu Troin. They had previously worked together on Phamie’s ‘War Song’ video. This ‘short’ was called ‘Camera Obscura’ and was an artistic inside look at some of the oldest cave paintings in the South of France, commonly known as ‘les grottes’. The Kindred Spirit award for music

Phamie was over the moon to have recently won The Kindred Spirit award for music for 2015. The award was given to musicians that have touched your heart or stirred your soul. Phamie was up against some pretty amazing International artists such as Loreena McKinnet and the lead singer of Clannad, Moya Brennan. Another Royal Appointment for Phamie

Phamie has been invited to ‘meet and greet’ and perform again for HRH Princess Anne and a room full of VIP guests at the Official Royal Opening of The Lennox Suite at The EICC (Edinburgh International Conference Centre), Scotland on the 15th of January 2015. Phamie will be sharing her musical gifts on ‘Black Magic’, her electric harp.
